Cat Boarding FAQ

Cat Boarding in North Austin & Pflugerville FAQ

When you go away for vacation, or just take a trip for the weekend, it can be difficult to figure what you should do with your cat. Even if you will only be gone a couple of nights, the change in pace can be disruptive for a feline, and what if an emergency happened when you were out of town—you would never forgive yourself. That’s why you should take advantage of the cat boarding options at Dessau Vet Clinic. We offer your feline a comfortable place to stay and assure that cat stays safe until your return. If you’re considering bringing your cat or cats in, take a look at some of the most frequently asked questions about our services.

What type of cat boarding facilities do you offer?

At Dessau Vet Clinic, we offer the most comfortable cat boarding North Austin has to offer. Our cat area is quiet, comfortable and far away from the space where we board dogs. This guarantees your cat has an enjoyable stay.

How long will you keep my cat at your facility?

We are more than happy to keep your cat for a short weekend visit or while you go on an extended vacation. We give your feline friend the same care you do, assuring your cat’s happiness.

Does my cat get personal attention when he or she is boarded?

While not true of every cat boarding facility, at Dessau Vet Clinic we give your cat plenty of one-on-one time including interactive play.

What should I bring from home?

We offer everything your cat needs for a comfortable stay. However, if he or she has a special blanket or will only eat out of a particular bowl, make sure you bring it along so we can make sure your pet remains happy for the entirety of the stay.

Do you offer extra services?

We do offer extra services for your cat, for an additional charge. If you would like to take advantage of our nail clipping or grooming services, let us know and you will come home to a happy and well-kept feline.

Do I need to do anything to prepare my kitty for boarding?

If your cat has never stayed with us before, you may want to bring him or her in for an overnight stay first—just to get used to the facility. Outside of this, all you need to do is make sure your cat has all his or her vaccinations. We will do the rest!

Even with all of the options for cat boarding Pflugerville residents trust Dessau Vet Clinic—and so should you! If you would like to make a reservation for your cat or talk to one of our boarding experts, don’t hesitate to call or contact us today. We can’t wait to help your cat feel like he or she is at home!
